At UseMyBank we do not collect data on your Signon code, Pin, Password, Passcode and/or any other information that could be used by UseMyBank in facilitating this service. The only information that is sent to the Seller is the Buyers entered Email Address, Amount, and other legal and required audit information. UseMyBank will not contact you without your explicit permission (via required updates, status, and other opt-in/out links the UseMyBank web site) unless required for UseMyBank support. UseMyBank employees cannot view and/or retrieve your personal information, as it is not made readily available.

UseMyBank has agreed to disclose our information practices as they apply to the UseMyBank service and has registered with PrivacyBot.com, an independent privacy seal program. UseMyBank uses Strong SSL 128-Bit encryption of all data transmitted to and from your browser. UseMyBank has selected ipsCA, a leading international IPS Certification Authority, S.L. as our Certificate Authority. Our Security Certificate ensures we keep your information secure.

Confidentiality and Security

UseMyBank maintains all required safeguards. We ensure that they comply with federal and provincial standards to guard your personal information held by UseMyBank relative to our Service.

The UseMyBank system is devised to ensure database integrity, which require servers on high speed backbones within a 7/24 monitored location. All Authorized Personnel can access the data centre using industry accepted security measures. We use the co-location services of Colosseum Online Inc.

Code of Practice

UseMyBank endorses the Canadian Code of Practice for Consumer Debit Card Services and is committed to maintaining and/or exceeding the level of customer protection for all its clients. Note: this is a voluntary code.

 
PCI Compliance and Hacker Safe

UseMyBank is certified to meet the highest standards set out by ScanAlert's HACKER SAFE certification program. It is the only security scanning technology recognized to meet both the U.S. government's benchmark FBI/SANS security test and the security standards of all major credit card companies - including Visa CISP and AIS, MasterCard SDP, American Express CID, and Discover Card DISC security audits.

UseMyBank is tested and certified daily to pass the FBI/SANS Internet Security Test. The "live" HACKER SAFE link means UseMyBank's web site security meets the highest security scanning standards of the U.S. government, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB.

 
Notification of Changes

If UseMyBank decides to change our privacy and security policies we will post those changes to this section, the homepage, and other sections where we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.

If, however, we are going to use users’ personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify users by posting a notice on our Web site for 30 days, and/or by email, where applicable.
